Most of such data sets have specified spatial reference. Therefore, managing and processing of such data for analyses can be streamlined through the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS). In this paper structure of geographical database and attributive information developed for deformation studies of abandoned Walbrzych Hard Coal Mines mining grounds (geodatabase) have been presented. Basing on selected examples useful functions and applications of geoinformation system developed for supporting ground deformation studies and visualizing and interpreting their results have been demonstrated.
