In case of J. Voss method thermal convection coefficient and effective thermal conductivity are required. Unlike aerodynamic parameters or geometry dimensions these properties are difficult to determine particularly for damp rock mass surrounding local ventilation networks of mining districts. In the paper the method of determining s ε and λe coefficients for ventilation networks of mining districts is presented. The method bases on underground measurements carried out in selected airways.
